This trend for Korean cuisine continues! This sandwich makes a satisfying meal at any time of day. It brings together fluffy scrambled egg, light and sweet brioche, juicy beef, and tangy cheese—all with just a hint of spiciness.
Ingredients
Preparation
Step 1

200 g beef fillet – 3 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki BBQ-Sauce with Honey – 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds – 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Pat the beef fillet dry and cut into thin strips. Mix with 3 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki BBQ-Sauce Honey and marinate for about 10 minutes. Then fry in hot oil in a large non-stick pan for 2–3 minutes and mix with the sesame seeds.
Step 2

2 tbsp light mayonnaise – 1 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki BBQ-Sauce with Honey – 2 slices brioche or milk bread (thickly cut, 6–8 cm) – 4 leaves green lettuce (e.g. lollo bionda, romaine or iceberg)
To make the sauce, mix the mayonnaise with 1 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki BBQ-Sauce Honey. Slice the brioche or bread almost all the way through and thinly spread approx. two-thirds of the sauce on the inside. Wash and pat dry the lettuce.
Step 3

4 eggs – 2 tbsp cottage cheese – ½ tsp brown sugar – 1 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki BBQ-Sauce with Honey – Freshly ground pepper – 1 tsp vegetable oil
Beat the eggs with the cottage cheese, brown sugar and 1 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki BBQ-Sauce Honey until light and frothy. Season with the pepper and fry in hot oil in a small non-stick pan until fluffy.
Step 4

2 tsp Kikkoman Toasted Sesame Oil – 1 tsp Kikkoman Spicy Chili Sauce for Kimchi – 2 slices of cheese (e.g. cheddar)
Mix the Kikkoman Toasted Sesame Oil with the Kikkoman Kimchi Chili Sauce to make the dressing. Fill the bread with the lettuce, beef, egg and cheese.
Step 5

If necessary, secure the bottom half of the bread rolls with greaseproof paper. Garnish with the remaining sauce, drizzle with the dressing and serve.
Tip:
This sandwich also tastes great with freshly grilled salmon fillet or prawns instead of beef.
