Turkey meatballs with mashed potatoes
A delicious and easy-to-make recipe that will appeal to both children and adults. The gentle-flavoured turkey meat, served with velvety mashed potatoes and crisp salad, is perfectly complemented by a touch of teriyaki sauce with roasted garlic.

Preparation
Step 1
70 g white onion – 1 tbsp oil – 1 pinch of salt
Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion until golden. Season with salt.
Step 2
180 g minced turkey breast – 1 tsp mixed dried herbs – Salt – 3 ½ tbsp breadcrumbs – 1 egg
Mix the meat with the previously prepared onion and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and mixed dried herbs. Add the egg and mix well. Put in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Step 3
500 g potatoes – 6 tbsp of Greek yogurt
Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cook them in salted water until they are soft. Drain, mash, and mix with the Greek yogurt.
Step 4
½ tbsp flour – 2 tbsp oil
Shape the turkey mince mixture into balls and coat them in flour. Fry them in a heated pan with oil (so that they are golden brown all over).
Step 5
3 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce with Roasted Garlic – 120 ml water
In a pot, bring water and teriyaki sauce to a boil, then add the browned meatballs. Cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly, stirring gently.
Step 6
70 g mixed salad leaves – 40 g red onion – 200 g cherry tomatoes – 1 tbsp lemon juice – 1 tbsp olive oil – 1 tsp honey
Finely chop the red onion. Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves or quarters. Mix them with the onion and salad leaves. In a small bowl, prepare the dressing: mix olive oil, honey, and lemon juice. Drizzle the salad with the dressing.
Step 7
Place the mashed potatoes on the plate, arrange the meatballs with the sauce. Serve with the salad.
