Tuna Poke Bowl

Our new Poke Sauce is based on Kikkoman soy sauce, sesame oil, and a hint of chilli. It is perfect for this tuna version of a Hawaiian Poke Bowl. Enjoy as a healthy lunch option.

  • 150 g red cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 small avocados
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 red onion
  • 200 g fresh tuna
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. toasted sesame seeds
  • 200 g cooked rice
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 tsp. Kikkoman Poke Sauce
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. Kikkoman Seasoning for Sushi Rice


Wash, trim and peel the vegetables. Cut the tuna into 1 cm cubes. Heat 1 tsp sesame oil in a pan. Add the tuna and stir fry for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat, add half of the sesame seeds and combine.

Mix the rice with the Seasoning for Sushi Rice and divide among 4 bowls. Place the vegetables and the tuna on top. Garnish with grated lemon zest and the remaining sesame seeds.

Combine the Poke Sauce with 4 tsp olive oil, the remaining sesame oil and the lemon juice. Use as a dressing for the salad.
