Teriyaki Glazed Burger recipe

This delicious twist on a traditional beef burger by adding delicious Kikkoman Teriyaki marinade will be a hit with the family at dinner time. Cook on a barbecue or under the grill

  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 medium red chilli, finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade
  • 1 egg
  • 50g breadcrumbs
  • ½ tbsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper
To serve
  • Toasted buns and finely shredded spring onions and cucumber


Add the ingredients, except for the teriyaki marinade, to a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

Divide into four balls then shape into 4 patties, no thicker than 2cm.

Place the burgers into the fridge for 10 minutes while the barbecue heats up.

Brush the burgers with the teriyaki marinade and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side and serve straight away in buns with cucumber and spring onions.
