Spicy Soy Chicken Skewers
Fire up the BBQ and try these Spicy Soy Chicken Skewers. Marinaded in Kikkoman Soy Sauce along with lime and spices, this spicy chicken skewers will be a bbq favourite.

- For the skewers
- 75ml Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce
- Juice of half a lime
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- pinch of cinnamon
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 spring onions
- 800g chicken breast fillet, diced
- For the tomato dip
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 2 small tomatoes, diced
- 1 tbsp Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp tomato paste
Start with the marinade for the chicken. In a bowl combine the 75ml of Kikkoman Soy Sauce, lime, paprika, cinnamon, chilli flakes and olive oil. mix well and set aside.
Cut 8 spring onions in half, keeping the root end whole and then finely chopping the top half of each onion. Dice the chicken into chunks and then skewer the chicken, with each piece separated by a spring onion.
Place the skewers into a shallow bowl and cover with the marinade, leave to marinade in the fridge for 20 minutes.
To make the tomato dip add together the finely chopped onion, garlic and tomatoes along with 1 tbsp of Kikkoman Soy Sauce. Add the tomato paste and chopped spring onions and mix.
Place the chicken skewers on the bbq and grill for 10-12 minutes.
