Fiery vegetarian spaghetti

A wholesome, filling family pasta dish which combines East and West flavours for a flavour sensation. Adjust the amount of chilli oil to your liking.

  • 500g wholemeal spaghetti
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 300g Quorn vegetarian mince
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 large pak choi, coarsely chopped
  • 150g baby spinach
  • 5 tbsp Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • chilli oil
  • vegetarian parmesan
  • basil leaves


Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the pack, until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a wok on a medium heat and fry the vegetarian mince for 5-6 minutes, or until slightly browned. Stir in the tomato puree and garlic and fry for 1-2 minutes. Add the vegetables and fry until soft. Add the soy sauce, honey, chilli oil and black pepper. Add the spaghetti and mix well. Serve with grated vegetarian parmesan, a little fresh basil and extra chilli oil.
