Bruschetta with tomato and avocado
A quick snack, brunch or lunch idea which is light and refreshing. The Kikkoman Teriyaki BBQ Sauce with Honey brings out the sweetness of the tomatoes.

- 1 ciabatta
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1.5 tbsp. Kikkoman Teriyaki BBQ Sauce with Honey
- 175 g cherry tomatoes (mixed colours are nice)
- 10-12 sprigs of basil
- juice of ½ lemon
- 2 medium-sized avocados
- 4 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki BBQ Sauce with Honey
Quarter the tomatoes. Peel and stone the avocados and dice the flesh into chunks. Put the tomatoes and the avocado pieces in a bowl. Season it with lemon juice, Teriyaki BBQ Sauce with Honey and pepper. Chop the basil roughly, add it to the tomato and avocado mixture. Cut the ciabatta in slices of about 1.5 cm thick. Mix the olive oil with the Teriyaki BBQ Sauce with Honey and spread over the breads. Preheat the grill. Cook the breads for a few minutes until they are lightly toasted and golden. Spread the tomato-avocado mixture on the bruschetta and serve warm.
