BBQ Chicken Kebabs

These quick and easy chicken kebabs are marinated in Kikkoman soy sauce and other storecupboard ingredients. Perfect for summer barbecues!

  • 2 chicken breasts cubed
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 2 tomatoes, deseeded & cubed
  • Chopped coriander
  • 4 lemon wedges

For the marinade

  • 30ml Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce
  • 30ml Vegetable Oil
  • 15ml Tomato Ketchup
  • 45ml Mango Chutney
  • 15ml Mild Chilli Sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 cm fresh ginger root, finely chopped


To make the marinade mix together all the sauces, garlic and ginger. Pour the marinade into a large mixing bowl and add the chicken and vegetables, tossing well to coat.

Thread the pieces alternately onto skewers then grill or bbq for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally. Serve garnished with chopped coriander and a wedge of lemon.
