Tonkatsu Tortilla Kebabs

  • 1 small red onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 iceberg lettuce
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 300g minced pork and beef
  • 100ml Kikkoman Tonkatsu Sauce
  • 200g small flour tortillas
  • 30 small wooden skewers


Peel the red onion, finely slice and set aside. Wash the tomatoes and roughly chop. Trim and wash the lettuce and finely shred. Peel and dice the white onions and saute in oil. Add the mince, and cook until browned, season with Kikkoman Tonkatsu Sauce and simmer to reduce slightly.

Cut the tortillas into approx 9 x 10 cm squares. Divide the meat sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and red onion on top and then roll up.

Cut each tortilla roll into 3 equal pieces, put a skewer through each one and serve with sour cream.
