  • 400g avocado (roughly 4)
  • 75g grated onion
  • 1 clove grated garlic
  • 3 tsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce
  • 1.5 tsp finely chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
  • 100g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce
  • 150g panko breadcrumbs


Mash the avocado and and onion, garlic, lime juice, Kikkoman soy sauce, coriander and season with hot sauce.

Spread onto a baking tray and freeze solid. Alternatively you can spread it onto silicone trays. Cut the frozen avocado in 2x2cm cubes.

Dust in flour and turn in beaten eggs with soy sauce and lastly panko. Refreeze for 30 minutes (or more). Deep-fry in hot oil for 2-3 minutes.

Serve with sweet chilli sauce or a crème fraiche seasoned with a few drops of hot sauce.
