Unlike other soy sauces, Kikkoman is also rich in umami, which intensifies the flavour of food. Use in place of salt as a versatile seasoning to all kinds of dishes - not just Asian. The high level of umami means you need less salt to achieve the same flavour which helps reduce the overall amount of sodium content in dishes.
