Stefan Sewell is our new Kikkoman Masters champion
We often say how chefs love to experiment with their favourite soy sauce, Kikkoman. That’s why every year we run a special chef’s competition, the Kikkoman Masters. Chefs from across the country enter and we’re always blown away by the amount of creativity with Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce. This year’s Kikkoman Masters was no exception. It was held on Monday, 30th September with 10 finalists vying to win the coveted prize of a 7-day trip to Japan and be crowned Kikkoman Masters Champion.We’re delighted to announce the winner as Stefan Sewell who is Team Captain (Head Chef) of the Combined Service Culinary Arts Team.
Stefan’s winning dishes consisted of a mouth-watering starter consisting Squash, Fermented Black Bean & Fennel. This was followed by an equally divine main course of Beef, Carrot & Kohlrabi.
