Your Kikkoman Cheats

Delia says Kikkoman Soy Sauce is the one she uses in her book Delia’s How to Cheat at Cooking – so we asked our registered visitors to tell us how the use Kikkoman soy sauce to cheat in their cooking.

Here are some of the replies we received - if you have one of your own, we'd love to hear about it.

Ann Carlisle, Corby "Try adding a tablespoon of Kikkoman Soy Sauce to homemade beef burger mix before patting into shape, then grill or shallow fry for a simply delicious, juicy, piquant snack. For a perfect accompaniment why not add a little more Soy Sauce to some relish, to really enliven those taste buds!!"

Maria Ellis, Welling: "Mix grated cheddar with Kikkoman soy sauce spread on toast and finish under the grill."

Nigel Griffiths, Llanelli: "A few drops in chilli con carne and it really lifts the flavour to a special high."

Sallyanne Rowe, Gloucester: "Brush on a duck to make skin crispy. Also makes tasty gravy"

Betty Wilkes, Uckfield: "Sprinkle over scrambled eggs with chopped spring onion – delicious

Mr Manser, Essex: "Mix soy sauce with ketchup, honey, bit of oil and ginger for an easy sweet and sour marinade for chicken or pork. "

Mandy Peek, London: "Use instead of salt and pepper for seasoning everything! I like it on chops."

Paul Franklin, Gateshead: "I never fail to add it to my spaghetti bolognese."

Mrs L. Bradley, Chester: "Makes a vegetable soup much tastier. Add to the finished stock."
