Soy, honey and almond glazed duckMethodPreheat the oven to 190°C / Gas 5. To prepare the glaze, mix together the honey, soy sauce, almonds and chilli and put aside. Score the skin on the duck breasts and sear in a hot dry frying pan for 3-4 minutes on each side (skin-side down first). Remove from the heat, transfer to a hot baking tray and generously cover each breast in the glaze. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until properly cooked through. Delicious served with creamy mash and seasonal vegetables. |
