Kikkoman Steamed Minced Pork in Egg

Ingredients

  • 200g pork, minced
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 duck egg
  • 100ml fresh milk
  • Kikkoman soy sauce

Method

Beat the eggs in a large bowl.

Add approx 20ml of fresh milk to the mince pork, mix well. Season with ½ tsp of sea salt.

Stir the pork into the bowl containing the beaten egg. Add the remaining fresh milk.

Separate the duck egg yolk from egg white, set aside.

Lightly grease an oval dish with olive oil. Pour in the mince mixture and tip the duck egg yolk in the centre of the dish.

Steam for 15 minutes.

Remove the oval dish from the steamer. Lightly sprinkle the top of the dish with Kikkoman soy sauce. Then place the oval dish in a pre-heated oven, temperature 200°C (fan assisted), for 5 minutes until the surface turns brown.

Serve with rice or noodles or salad.
