Delia says... cheat with Kikkoman!

A Delia Cheat! ingredientWhen Delia speaks, the rest of us listen! Delia says Kikkoman Soy Sauce is the one she uses in her book Delia’s How to Cheat at Cooking – so who are we to argue?

Delia, who has previously travelled to Japan to see for herself how this famed naturally brewed soy sauce is made, specifies Kikkoman in a selection of recipes, including a spicy lemon chicken dish, fragrant sesame scallops and a crunchy peanut dipping sauce.

Still made to the same recipe created in Japan more than 300 year ago, Kikkoman uses just four natural ingredients - soybeans, wheat, salt and water. It is slowly fermented for several months, resulting in a soy sauce that is wonderfully aromatic but never overpowering.

Look out for the familiar red-capped bottles of Kikkoman in all major supermarkets – they’re  now sporting Delia’s official “Cheat Ingredient” stickers on the label! In the meantime, try this delicious light lunch or supper recipe perfect for enjoying this spring. Then you can see for yourself what Delia is talking about!
